It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother on May 10, 2022, in his 78th year.
Born on February 15, 1945, he was the son of the late Lancelot Noble Smith and the late Achsah Geraldine (Seale).
Cherished husband of Patricia Smith (Stevenson). Loving father of Stephanie and Melissa (Jonathon Fowles); and beloved grandfather of Isabella and Emerson Fowles.
He also leaves to mourn his sister Sandra Winslow and he will be missed and fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice. In Dale’s memory, the family encourages you to undertake a random act of kindness.
The family would like to thank the paramedics and emergency services for all their efforts and kindness. Stephanie and Melissa want to say a special thank you to Pam Bown for being there with their mom on that morning.
A memorial service will be held Saturday May 14 at 11a.m. at the Lennoxville United Church. Dale would want everyone to wear a mask.

We are so very, very sorry to learn of Dale’s passing. Although we only met once, I felt like I knew him much better from Stephanie’s warm tales of a very considerate, thoughtful and fun person.

Oh, I'm so sorry to read this! Dale was always one of the kind teachers to whom I felt comfortable to ask questions way back when I first started teaching at Galt. He enjoyed his students and I know how much he loved his family.
