C’est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. John R. Kimpton le 16 septembre 2024, au CHUS-Fleurimont, à l'âge de 92 ans et 11 mois. Il était l'époux de feu Mary Bronson.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Beverly (Grant), Wendy et Cheryl (David). Son fils John (Sandra) l'a précédé dans la mort. Il manquera à ses petits-enfants Joe, Timothy, D.C., Andrew, Naomi ainsi qu'à ses nombreux arrière-petits-enfants. Il manquera beaucoup à son compagnon de longue date Jean Rourke et à sa famille, ainsi qu'à de nombreux autres parents et amis.
Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 12 octobre 2024 à 15h en l'Église Anglicane St-Matthias, 817 Chemin Sheldon, Fitch Bay, QC J1X 3W4.
So sorry to read of your Dad's passing. We used to always keep in touch at Christmas. When in Kingston Jack & Mary would come for supper & spend the evening. The good times. We can't forget either that He was the best square dance caller ever. My Love, Thoughts & Prayers are with you all.

we lost a true gentle giant, I haven’t known him for very long but for the short brief moments that we spent time together, I remember his smile, determination, demand to be independent, His silence strength- which I will greatly miss. May your memories provide you some comfort and knowing that he is at peace and pain-free in the times ahead. You will be truly missed by so many and the community. Take time to cry, but then remember his smile and hopefully that will make you feel better. my sincerest condolences
Brad and me are very saddened by the death of your father. He was a wonderful man and we were extremely fond of him. We will miss him dearly. He was a great part of our family here in New York. Our prayers are with all of you.
