It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion Helen Varney, who passed away peacefully at the age of 102 on September 22, 2024, in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Marion was born on July 19, 1922, at Hillcrest Farms, and lived a long and full life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry Varney, her dear son, Stanley Varney, her brothers, Gilbert Badger and Ron Badger, and her nephew, Terry Badger. Marion's legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to be felt by those who survive her, including her brother, Lawrence Badger, and his wife Sherry Badger, along with her many nieces and nephews: Wesley Badger, Bob Badger, Joyce Badger, Danny Badger, Michael McTaggart, Mark Badger, Natasha Badger, and Christopher Badger.
A graveside service will be held in her honor at Malvern Cemetery in Lennoxville, Quebec, on September 27, 2024. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Marion’s remarkable life and the countless ways she touched the hearts of those around her.
Marion will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
