Passed away at the Gillam residence in Lennoxville, following a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday January 18th 2005 at the age of 58 years. Agnes Shattler was the beloved wife of Cedric Stubbert and dear mother of Nina (Kevin MacIver), Curtis (Nancy Landry), and Malcolm (Marie-Helene Landry). Cherished grandmother of Jeremy and Juliette. Agnes is also survived by her brothers and sisters; the late Ivan (Lila Anderson), the late Evelyn (Len Chislett), the late Peter (Millie Chislett), Nelson (Stella Bobbitt), Deanna (late Clyde Rowsell), Lydia (Fred Rowsell), the late John, the late Patrick (Dale Chubbs), Brian (Sally Kippen) and Nancy (Raymond Strickland), her father-in-law Hollis Stubbert and brothers-in-law Clayton Stubbert (Linda) and Enis Stubbert (Beth) along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at the St-Andrews Presbyterian Church in Lennoxville, on Friday January 21st 2005 at 2 PM with the Rev. John Barry Forsyth officiating. Interment in the Huntingville Cemetery. As memorial tributes, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
