ATKIN MARTEL, Beatrice

Passed away peacefully at the I.U.G.S. Argyll Pavillon, Sherbrooke, QC on Tuesday, April 18th 2006, in her 96th year. Beatrice Charlotte Atkin beloved wife of the late Alban Martel, dear mother of George E. Martel ( Ann White ) and Lorraine Smith, cherished grandmother of Kathleen Martel, Laurie Ann ( Doug McBean ), Brady Smith ( Yolanda ) and Kevin Smith ( Valerie ). Beatrice also leaves to mourn her great-grandchildren: Robyn Grey and Mandi-Lee Grey-Smith, Travis Smith, Jeremy Smith and Melissa Ann McBean and her sister Ruth Partington. Respecting Mrs. Martel's wishes, there is no visitation and cremation was held. A service will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, 6 Belvidere St. Lennoxville, QC. Tel: 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, on Saturday, May 6th at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. James Potter officiating. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery. As memorial tributes, donations to the I.U.G.S. Foundation-Argyll Pavillon, 1036 Belvedere St. S. Sherbrooke, QC J1H-4C4 would greatly be appreciated by the family.
