Peacefully at his sister's home, with his family, on September 26, 2012 at the age of 58. Doug leaves behind his son David (Cindi), his daughter Amy (Jamie), two granddaughters Kelly and Kennedy, his sisters Maureen (Richard) and Valerie (Patrick), brother Kevin, nieces, nephews, his Uncle Wayne and Aunt Sis, Grannie Frances, friend Diane Lalonde, relatives and friends. A private graveside service will be held at Melbourne Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
