GODUE, Émile

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on Thursday January 2nd 2014 at the age of 70. Husband of the late Shirley Dionne, and loving companion of Sarah Oakley. Dear father of Carole (the late François Bernier), Nicole (the late Daniel Couture), Michel (Chantal Lauzon) and of Nic St-Laurent (Donna Slager). Grandfather of Hugues, Jacinthe, Fréderique, Camille and Jacob. Émile also leaves to mourn, his brothers and sisters; Archille (the late Gisèle), Jean, Lise (André Doir), Francine, Sylvio (Jeannine), and was predeceased by his brother Romeo. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many dear friends. Visitation was held at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, on Sunday January 5th 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral Mass will be held in Ste-Bibiane Catholic Church on Monday January 6th at 11:00 AM with father Benoit Houde officiating. Interment in the parrish cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of the CHUS Fleurimont, 7th Floor, for the wonderful care they provided.
