WILLIAMS, Frederick John
1954 - 2022
After a courageous battle with cancer, Frederick Williams passed away on Saturday April 23rd at the palliative care unit in Coaticook hospital at the age of 67. He was the son of the late Frederick Williams Sr. and Joan Burr.
He is survived by his wife Colleen Matthews, his children Matthew (Keila), Kimberly and Skylar (Melaine) and his step daughters Serena (Danny) and Kandi (Philippe). Beloved grandfather to Kaydence, Rylan, Auston, Alexandra (Francois), Erika (Sani), Dominic (Sarah), Vincent (Alexina) and a future granddaughter yet to be born. Great grandfather of Olivia, Lincoln, Laura, Sophia, Damjan and Anastasia. Brother to Kathleen (Eric), Michael (Judy), Susan (late Larry), Cheryl (Allan) and Eve (Sonny).
The family will receive condolences at Cass Funeral home in Lennoxville on Sunday May 1st from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM and Monday May 2nd from 1PM-2PM followed by the burial in Reedsville cemetery in North Hatley.
The family would like to thank Dr Margarit and the CLSC staff in Coaticook for the excellent care they gave him. A special thanks to Cheryl and Allan for their support these past years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Terry and I were saddened to hear of Fred's passing. He was a great guy and we enjoyed your visit when you came up and our visit to see you guys. We hadn't met Fred until then and we instantly knew he would be our friend. He was so courageous throughout and am sure will be missed dearly.

We just found out about Fred's passing and I want to express my condolences to you all.
That was a hard fought battle that I really recently was made aware of. Both of you showed a huge amount of kindness to my parents in their later years and I will never forget that. Thank you for that and Fred will always be remembered. Battle over, rest in peace Derf.
