DOUGHERTY, Henri
1934 - 2023
Henri passed away peacefully at CHUS Fleurimont after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Joan Hodge for 66 years. He was the amazing father of Robert (Michelle), Randy (Sylvie), Ricky (Janet), Karen( Pierre), Shelley (Marie-Claude) and Tracie.
Left to mourn in addition to his 6 children are his 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and his sister Pauline Dougherty (the late Gerry) .
Dad was all a child could ask for in a father. He was a quiet man who was always there for his family. He was a hard-working man and a great provider. Never did the family go hungry or get cold. He will be forever missed and his love and memory will always live on.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 19 at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), from 2-4:30 pm and 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Bury on Saturday May 20 at 2:00 pm, immediately followed by the burial in Eaton Corner and a time of food and friendship at the Bury Town Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Society would be appreciated by the family.
