WHIPPLE, James

Passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer surrounded by his loved ones at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog, on January 6, 2008, in his 61st year. Jim leaves to mourn his devoted and loving companion of 37 years, Linda Grenon, their son Craig (Daphne), and daughter Lana (Robert). Cherished Papa of Lauren, Paige, Hunter and Kolby. Dear son of Evelyn Hall and the late Carroll Whipple. Brother of the late Larry, Deb (Bill), and Steve (Heather). Proud uncle of Holly, Tracy, Tania, Jamie, Travis and Stephanie. Jim will also be sadly missed by other relatives and many special friends. There will be visitation in the presence of the ashes at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough, Ayer’s Cliff 819-876-5213/www.casshomes.ca on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, where friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a celebration of his life at 8:30 p.m.. As memorial tributes, donations to the Ayer’s Cliff Legion, c/o Norman Wintle, 925 Main, Ayer’s Cliff, Qc. JOB 1CO, the Frontier Animal Society, 1 Bigelow, Stanstead, Qc., JOB 3E5 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 3330 King Ouest, bureau 130, Sherbrooke, Qc.
