Suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC, on Saturday, May 12th 2007, at the age of 73. Leonard Robert Thompson, beloved husband of the late Mary Isabel MacDonald, dearly loved father of Jo-Ann, Donna, Richard (Carole), Mark (Krys), Cynthia and Donald (Penny). Bud was the cherished grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 5. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, QC (Lennoxville): Tel: (819) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Monday, May 14th 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM, and on Tuesday, May 15th from 2 to 3PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00PM with the Rev. John Barry Forsyth officiating. Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke. As memorial tributes, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2630 King St. W. Sherbrooke, QC suite 100, J1J 2H1 or to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, 4200 St-Lawrence Blvd. Suite #418 , Montreal, QC H2W 2R2, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
