HEALY TAYLOR, Lucy

2014

Taylor, Lucy Martha Helen (nee Healy) passed away peacefully, from this world, to be with husband, Errol and son, Ray. Born in 1925, Lucy was the daughter of Egbert and Elsie Healy and sister to Arnold and Henry. She was loving partner to Errol (1924-2004) for 57 years and proud mother of William (Joanne), Helen (Bernard), Ray (1953-69), Roy (Marjorie), John (Lidwina), Richard (Jennifer) and Martha (John). Grandma Lucy was loved and admired by grandchildren ( and their partners) Leah, Camille, Karen, Brendan, Eric, Kevin, Leanne, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Pamela, Michael, Mark, Ian, Seth and Evan and great-grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Catherine, Henry, Nathan, Seth, and Carter. Lucy was the centre of her family, modelling love, strength and goodwill to all. She enjoyed interaction with her students and colleagues for many years and held many volunteer roles within the church and community. Recently, Lucy enjoyed reminiscing about the old days with friends at Foyer Wales Home, where she received outstanding care. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S, Richmond, where friends may visit on Monday September 1st from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday from 10 to 10:50 am. A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held in the Richmond-Melbourne United Church on Tuesday September 2nd at 11:00AM. Donations to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond, QC J0B 2H0, would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Cass Funeral Home, Richmond.
