BATLEY, Peggy

Peacefully at the St. Paul's Rest Home, Bury, Qc,on Monday, December 5th 2005 in her 86th year. Peggy Ethel Coates, beloved wife of the late Sterling Batley, loving mother of Beverley ( Don MacAulay ), Bruce ( Ilah Westgate ), Carol ( Lawrence Hodge ) and Susan ( Sam Evans ); cherished grandmother of Veronica, Norman, Angela, Tracy, Christine, Ginger, Laurie, Tara, Jennifer, Stephen and Shelby. Peggy was also the great-grandmother of 12. She was pre-deceased by her brother Gordon Coates and sisters Elsie Watson and Ella Bennett. She is survived by her brothers-in-law Austin and Eric Batley. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 554 Main St. Bury, QC: Tel: 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Thursday, December 8th 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, December 9th from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Barbara Willard officiating. Interment in the Grace United Cemetery, Brookbury, QC. As memorial tributes, donations to the St. Paul's Rest Home, 592 Main St., Bury, QC J0B-1J0 would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
