Mrs. Shirley Danforth Roy passed away at the CSSS Memphremagog on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the age of 69, formally from the Canton of Stanstead.  Dearly beloved wife of Philippe Roy and daughter of the late Maurice Danforth and the late Marie-Jeanne Cormier.

Mrs. Danforth Roy leaves to mourn her children: Daniel (Paula), Henri (Louise), Donna (Denis), Chantal (Danny), Nicole (Normand), Gisèle (Sylvain), Alain (Mélanie), Denis (Valérie) and Nancy (Rick) as well as her grandchildren: Trisha, Karina, Nadia, Valérie, Mike, Martin, Patricia, Sébastien, Philippe, Claudia, Yann, Vanessa, Johanie, Audrey, Roxanne, Antony, Kathya, Tommy, Kasandra, Jakob, Sabrina, Cédrick, Nicolas, Félix, Coralie, Loïc Kayla, Logan and their spouses.  She also leaves her great-grandchildren: Léa (T), Léa (R), Médérick, Olivia, Malick , Charlie and Baby Roy on the way.  She leaves her brother David and sister Vye (late Robert).  She is predeceased by her sisters Marguerite (late Marcel), Louise and Cora. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters in-law: Florence (Marcel), Denise (Annette), Yvette, Cécile (Bill) Jacinthe (Marcel), Jean-Paul (Louise), Madeleine, Fernand (Carole), François, Solange (René), Rachel (Guy), Carmen (Pierre), Ginette, Céline (Gérard) and Camil.  She is also predeceased by her brothers and sister in law Robert (Vye), Raymonde and Ginette.  She also leaves to mourn Carmel, Rosaire, Jean and Lucille as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral Home, 545, Dufferin, Stanstead, on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:50 a.m.   Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the St-Ephrem Church in Fitch Bay.  Interment at the Fitch Bay cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quebec Cancer Foundation, 1155 Blvd. René Lévesque Ouest, Bureau 1705, Montréal, (Québec) H3B 3Z7, would be appreciated by the family.
