SMITH, Stewart

Passed away after a lengthy battle at the CHUS Fleurimont on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at the age of seventy-five years. Cherished husband of Dorothy Fountain and precious father of: Rodney (Donna), Ronald, Judy (Jim), Marc, and Kevin; Stewart will also be sadly missed by his nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, along with his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead , Qc.819-876-5213 /www.casshomes.ca on Friday, February 12, 2010, where friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. The service will be held in the Centenary United Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Griffin Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their most sincere appreciation to the staff of the 3rd- 8th- and 10th floors at the CHUS for the wonderful care given to Stewart and also the Dialysis unit of the Magog Hospital. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
