Passed away suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC on Sunday, December 31st 2006 at the age of 65. Walter E. Statton Jr.predeceased by his first wife Ruth Côté, daughter Wendy (Michel Lafortune) and step-son Dale, survived by his wife Ardath Hume Blair, dear father of Sandra (John Bainbridge), cherished grandfather of Normand Lafortune.Junior leaves to mourn his step-children Rodney (Claire), Kaye (Bruce), Nancy (Brian),Mailin, Lynn (Simone) and Melanie(Kevin), he will sadly be missed by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews,step-granchildren, step-great grandchildren and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St, Sawyerville, QC, Tel: (819) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Wednesday, January, 3rd 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and on Thursday, January 4th from 1 to 2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm, with the Rev. Barbara Willard officiating. Interment in the Eaton Cemetery at a later date.
