HAYNES, Zena

Zena Haynes Colton passed away peacefully, at the age of 89, in Sawyerville, Québec, on May 18, 2014. Born in Canaan, Vermont, dear daughter of the late Addie Banfill and the late Abner Haynes, she graduated in 1946 as a registered nurse at the Sherbrooke Hospital. She is survived by her children Nancy (Daniel Gagnon) and John (Linda Desmarais), her grandchildren Stéphanie, John and Katia and a great grandchild Chevy. A graveside service will be held at the Alice Hunt Cemetery, in Canaan, Vermont, on Friday May 30th, 2014 at 3:00pm. Memorial tributes to Myeloma Canada to fund research towards multiple myeloma will be greatly appreciated by the family.
