BELL, Arnold

1933 - 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold Bell, who left us peacefully on August 9, 2025, just shy of his 92nd birthday.

Born to the late Loren and Esther Bell, Arnold was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara; his brother, Stan (Judy); and his sisters, Evelyn (Gordon) and Marion (Ray). He is survived by his loving sister, Linda (Bob); his children, Heather, Andrew, and Wendy (John); and his cherished grandson, PJ, who brought him endless joy. Arnold will also be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.

Arnold lived a full and vibrant life. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, curling, and woodworking. He found great happiness in trips to the ocean—especially if lobster was on the menu. A proud Mason for over 50 years, Arnold valued fellowship, tradition, and service to his community.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place privately for family on Saturday.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

So sorry for your loss. I have many good memories of my times with Arnold, including working on the farm and campground all those years ago. He was a good man, he was fun to be around and we enjoyed so many deep laughs being around him. I’m happy he got to live a good long, healthy and active life. Sincere condolences to Heather, Andrew, Wendy, John, PJ and Allison. Stan, Cindy & family.
