ROYAL, Donalda

1952 - 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Donalda Gail Royal (Frost), born June 16, 1952, announce her passing on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Hotel Dieu d’Artabaska Hospital (QC).

She is survived by her husband Robert Frost (married October 1972), her children Linda, Mark (Tamy), Laurie (John), and Vicky (David), and by her grandchildren Dylan, Kaiden, Samantha, Tiffany, Jessica, Isabelle, Hailey, Makenna, Karson, Ashton, Mia, and Abigail. Also survived by her siblings Jean (Ian), Julia (Clarence), Brian (Sangaroon) and Margaret (Dwight), and her many nieces and nephews.

Dona is rejoined with her father Walter Allen, her mother Nora, and her sisters Sherwood and Shirley who passed before her.

She is greatly loved and will be sadly missed, leaving a hole in our hearts and an empty seat at her kitchen table.

Forever rest in peace with God.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2pm at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Danville, followed by internment at the Danville Protestant Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 18 from 7-9pm at St. Augustine’s Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dona’s name to the CLSC, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Fondation de l’hopital Hotel Dieu d’Arthabaska.

We were deeply saddened to hear about Donna’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.

She was such a remarkable woman—hardworking, full of life, and always ready with a laugh. Her sense of humor and joyful spirit lit up every room she entered. She was so proud of her family and loved you all fiercely, especially her grandchildren, who clearly brought her so much joy.

We hope you find comfort in the many beautiful memories you shared together. Her love, strength, and warmth will never be forgotten.

With love and sympathy,
Love Diane, Andrew & Matthew
