Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 89. Edgar Coates beloved husband of Thelma Walker and loving father of Gene (Donna Wood), Dale (Elaine Mackenzie)) Hank, Lawrence (Carmen Mackenzie), Patricia (Leo Healey), Mona (Mike Horvath) , Della (Jean Mason), and Wyatt. Edgar was the cherished grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Russell, his sisters Lila Girouard, Thelma Turnbull, and Inez Dutton, many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 50 Craig St., Cookshire, Qc. Where friends may call on Wednesday, February,13 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Thursday, February 14, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Wanda Dillabough officiating. Interment in the Bury cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Edgar’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
