HARTWELL, George

Passed away at home as he had wished, on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at the age of 77. Beloved husband and soul mate of Elizabeth Hartwell (Anderson). Loving father of Krista (John Shepard) and the late Michael ; step-father of Scott Coote (Terry Moore) and Alyson Coote (Fred Wright). Cherished step-grandfather of Emilie and Julia Coote, Brandon and Ashley Wright. Leaving many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. at : St.Andrews Presbyterian Church, 256 Queen St. Lennoxville, QC followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. John Barry Forsyth officiating. Interment in the St. James Anglican Cemetery Hatley at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to : Children's Wish Foundation. c/o Chrissy Mackey, 4990 Nutbrown Circle, Waterville, QC J0B 3H0 He enjoyed life, likeable fellow who loved to dance and be with his family and friends.
