SMITH, James Francis Peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, QC, Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Veteran of W"W"II, husband of the late Margaret Beaton. Loving father of Leigh (Arlene) of Calgary, AB., Miles (Corinne) of Fenwick, ON., Wendell (Nancy) of Canton de Hatley, QC., and Debbie (Iain Walker) of Sherbrooke, QC.. Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 11. Resting at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), QC. 819-564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca where family and friends may call on Thursday, January 14 from 7 to 9 P.M. and on Friday January 15 from 1 to 2 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 2 P.M., Rev. Ruth Charleau officiating. Interment in Lingwick Cemetery, Gould, QC., in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Connaught Home, 77 Main St., North Hatley, QC., J0B 2C0, or to the Dr. W. J. Klinck Foundation c/o Massawippi Christian Retirement Homes, 1501 Campbell St., Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0C1 in his memory would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the connaught Home for the wonderful care given to "Pop" over the last few years.
