MATHIESON MCKINVEN, Jemima

McKinven, (Maimie) Jemima Georgina Cassells Mathieson (May 9 1922 - April 14 2008) - Born in Scotland, Maimie immigrated to North Hatley along with her husband Alex in 1952. Maimie passed away peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, Quebec in her 86th year. She will be greatly missed by her sons Derwyn, Alistair, Callum and daughter Verna. Beloved grandmother of Shona, Trevor, Meagan, Ryan, Tara, Brooke and Alana McKinven, Travis Peterson and great grandmother of Emma Mayne. A memorial tribute to Maimie will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at 2 pm at the Minton United Church. The family will be at the church at 1:30 pm to receive condolences. Rev Patricia Lisson officiating. Interment will be in the Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley alongside her beloved husband Alex. Arrangements entrusted to the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke, QC, 819-564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca. As memorial tribute, donation to the Massawippi Christian Retirement Homes 1501 Campbell Avenue, R.R.#2, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 2A3 would be gratefully acknowledge by the family.
