DAVIS, Sydney

Passed away peacefully following a brief illness at the CHUS in Sherbrooke, on Wednesday, March 6, 2007, just five days prior to his 92nd birthday. Sydney Davis, now reunited with his beloved wife, Hazel Derick, will be sadly missed by his only daughter Beverly, his son-in-law John Wilson and his cherished grandchildren Meighan, Darrick, and Darrin. Sydney also leaves to mourn, his sister Violet Frazier, his sister-in-law Ethel Davis, nieces, nephews and a special friend, Jean Martin. He was pre-deceased by his brother Clarence Davis. Visitation will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough, Ayer's Cliff, Qc. 819-876-5213 /www.casshomes.ca, on Wednesday March 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Way's Mills United Church on Thursday March 15th 2007, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Doreen Moffat officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Way's Mills Cemetery, c/o Angus MacKinnon, 238 Buckland, Coaticook, Qc. J1A 2S5, or to the charity of your choice.
